My Dell Inspiron 710m


Guess what? I finally ordered for a laptop. Everytime I think of buying a laptop, something or other will stop me and I would say, "Ok, not this time. May be someother time". Now, in the Singapore I.T. Sales 2006, I decided to buy a laptop since I am returning to India. I always thought that I would be buying an IBM model. But, since IBM has stopped production and I liked this dell model [Inspiron 710m], I went for it.

Me and my friend Prasad went to order for the Dell laptop on Mar 11,2006. We didnt know that we had pay by cheque or Credit card. But the sales rep was very good and he told us that we can place the order and they would collect the cheque on Mar 14. So we placed the order.

I got my Laptop delivered on March 22 [Wednesday] at 5.50pm. Its a small, cute and light weight model. I always wanted a light weight one cos I find it difficult to carry the heavier ones. That night, we checked for the softwares and installed Yahoo Messenger and chatted with some friends.

Hmmm.. Now, I have to install the additonal software needed and should take proper care to protect it against the viruses. So, now I have an additional responsibility of taking care of my laptop too...
