Asian Aerospace 2006


Its quite some time since I blogged. I was thinking that I should start blogging regularly, but somehow it doesnt happen.

Today, I went to the Asian Aerospace 2006 conducted here in Singapore. Since this is the last time its happening here [next year in Hongkong], there was a big hype about it.

There was a flying display and many fighter planes participated in that. Last year, it seems there were demonstrations from India also. My colleagues who went for last year's aerospace told me that and I was expecting our Tricolors in the sky.. but a biggggggg disappointment. This year there was no demonstration by India. When we enquired in the Indian stall they told us that India is participating in the Paris one and not this.

The best ones in the flying display which I enjoyed are the F15 Premiere Eagle from the US Army and the SQ's A380 demonstration. Wow, the F15 was making wonders in the sky. A380... no need for any words. Such huge flight with the capacity of some 480 passengers being demonstrated live... a wonderful experience. Just thought that I would upload the photo.

Langkawi


My trip to Langkawi during the Chinese New Year Vacation [Jan 28 to Jan 31] went on really great.

I wanted to update my blog regarding this journey, but didn’t get enough time for it. Will soon update about the travel.
